Vintage Plaid Mini-Skirt

I love these boots. They're slim-fitting and quite comfortable. The heel is the perfect height and they're great for walking. They have a suede look, which I love, but they're not real suede, which is practical for rainy, snowy Chicago.

They were crazy cheap from Payless, and I've had them for 6 years. The heels wore down, so I found a shoe repair guy and had them replaced a few months ago. I hesitated to spend money fixing something that was so inexpensive to begin with, but I really loved these boots and wore them a lot, so I decided to go ahead and fix them. I'm glad I did, as I still really enjoy wearing them.

  5. yea, suede is not good in Chicago when snow is melting and there is water everywhere, so these faux suede are perfect. A good pair of shoes are hard to come by. I have one pair of perfect black heels that I spent $10.00 on years ago, but every couple of months I take them in to the heels replaced because I haven't been able to find another pair and they are so worth getting fixed.

Love the necklace, another awesome piece by Miss Clare!
