Moving day. Most things went smoothly. Once consistent problem: my new closet. In addition to being too small to fit my clothes (which I knew in advance) it collapsed. Twice. The first time, the wooden bar splintered in the center from the weight and took down the shelving and lower half-height half-length bar. The second time (which was just this past Wednesday), the strong metal bar didn't break, but the supports came out of the wall, pulling big chunks of the wall with them. Hopefully, a professional will be reinstalling the closet this weekend with more reinforcements or supports or whatever is needed to keep the bar from collapsing again. Then, I'll need to figure out what to do with all the stuff that doesn't fit in the itty-bitty closet. Right now, the room is just a mess of clothes and shoes and boxes.
