Happy Friday

I didn't get a chance to take pictures yesterday. I had a busy day with multiple court appearances and appointments, then in the evening I went to see Hubbard Street Dance. Great show as always. I wore a modified version of this outfit.

My grandmother made me the houndstooth leggings I'm wearing today. She made them years and years ago. I liked them, but they were a good 4 inches too short, so I stuck them in my sewing box to see what could be done with them. I recently pulled them out and decided that I could wear tham as is underneath socks and boots, hence today's outfit.

These houndstooth leggings are pretty thick and I layered them on top of another pair of thick leggings, and my socks are thick and warm, but I still wasn't warm enough outside waiting for the bus! I think it was in the 20's when I was on my way in today.

I'm in the final run of rehearsals for my show that opens next week. I'm dancing and singing with the Chicago Bar Association's annual Christmas show, "I'm a Lawyer, Get Me Out of Here!". If you're in the Chicago area, come check it out. One show a day, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 p.m. You can get more info and buy tickets on the show's website.
