Dressing Like the Boys

Here's another almost-all-thrifted outfit. Only the shoes and earrings were purchased new (and the brooch is vintage from my grandmother). More and more of my outfits are having a significant amount of thrifted items in them. That makes me happy.

Where:
work

What:
White Buttondown: Banana Republic (thrifted, $2)
Skirt: Kasper for A.L.S. (thrifted as part of a suit)
Tie: Andhurst (thrifted)
Shoes: from Payless
Earrings: Aldo??
Flower Brooch as tie clip: vintage from my grandmother

  1. I love your outfit so much! I need to practice tying a necktie, I have a whole collection that I love from thrift store shopping. And I checked out your collection that your grandmother and mother bestowed upon you, absolutely AMAZING! So wonderful that they shared their treasures with you. You wear them in such lovely ways.

  2. Cute incorporation of menswear. Great look on you. Also, way to go with this almost completely thrifted outfit.

  6. I love how you kept the tie feminie by using your grandma's brooch as a tie pin.
