This shirt is a refashion of one of my boyfriend's old t-shirts. I loved the color and the softness of the fabric, but it was too big and baggy for me, so I slimmed the sides, cut the neckline and finished the neck by simply folding under and stitching. Nothing fancy. It's reversible and can be worn with the boatneck front or the deep v front. The boatneck is a bit more work appropriate with the jacket staying on all day.

cute! you could have left the top baggy and just belted it too. i like the V in the back better, unexpected sexy when you take the jacket off.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I have very basic sewing skills, but I'll try this with one of my hubby's shirts. I like the cut.
ReplyDeleteI love how the boyfriend t-shirt turned out! I've been loving that slouchy style lately.
